He lived in Vienna as did I for a few years. He is based out of Paris now but maintains a discreet apartment in the 8th district.

I was good to see him. He is as always quite entertaining company.

Well. I am well. Just a bit distracted lately.

Don't be fooled by that Tav Falco. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing. Look at that snarling grin he has. He's gonna push you around with the Tango dance of his. ...my oh my ...look out!

Never met the man, but it seems like most of the handsomest, most talented boys I know have played with him at one time or another. Wasn't Panther Burns on TV Party? Seems that's the first I heard of them.



I remember that at some early point, around "79, or '80, I was visiting my then hick home town and I went to the grocery store a few blocks from my parents' home. Most of America seemed oblivious to punk rock and had certainlly never heard of "No Wave," but I saw a guy in a Panther Burns T-shirt.

We opened for the Panther Burns in Tucson in the mid to late 80s, I believe. Tav Falco rode a motorcycle up on stage to start his set. It was very fun -- he's a great showman. Afterwards, Lorette Velvette asked to buy me a drink. "Great success."
