CHOCOLATE TRIFECTA COOKIES
Chocolate Trifecta Cookies
You will need:
1/2 cup (or 1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 Tablespoon milk
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup Hershey's cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 bag Hersheys kisses, with or without almonds, unwrapped.
Heat oven to 350 degrees farenheit.
In a mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, vanilla and brown sugar until blended.
Add eggs and milk; beat well.
Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually add in to butter mixture, blending well. (I added it a cup at a time, stirring all the while, and this worked well.)
Stir in chocolate chips.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 to 11 minutes.
Cool on cookie sheet for about a minute, then remove from cookie sheet and place on wire rack. Press kisses into the center of each cookie while they are still a little bit warm.
Makes about 48 cookies.
