MY SKETCHBOOK

I dug up some of my old sketchbooks. Here is some samplings of the work. I realized that I was a good artist, but I would never be great. Nothing is worse than being talented enough to know that you're not talented enough.

You just have to make your own mark that is what makes art so valueable. And if people criticize you just tell them to fuck off we have enough critics in the world. It is easy to sit around and criticize people all day.

I've seen commercially successful art that is, in my opinion, not as good as yours. Erogge makes a good point: Believe in yourself

true, there is some really crap commercial art out there *cough* thomas kincaide *cough* But I'm a firm believer that it takes talent, determination, and luck to succeed in any artistic endeavor. There are artists out there more talented and more driven than I. Besides, I believe I can say more to more people through other media such as film and the written word. My artisitc sensibilities have, i feel, evolved beyond pencil drawings.
